Drunk and Stupid

Hell, I was applying for an apratment online a few days back while drunk. And when I check for application status today, I noticed that I've applied for the wrong one. I was meaning to choose another project, but accidentally clicked on the one listed just above it.

The application process would take days to go through, and my current lease is about to expire. Searching around and I didn't find anyone else who had faced the same issue. There is no way to withdraw the application while it's being processed. And now I face a delima. If I give up my current application immediately after it's processed by the regulating authorities, there is no guarantee I could get a new application approved in time. And if I choose to move to this mis-chosen one, I'd face a higher rent, and a little bit farther distance to travel to work. But, on the bright side, this one I'm applying, is a little bit larger. I always want a larger apartment though.

Now ? I can only try to be optimistic, that this should be a good thing. Maybe a fairy guided my finger the other day to choose this one. What can be learned ? Don't do anything drunk. Better late than regret. 🤣
